This trip again features a large amount of driving and adds three ferry crossings and significant driving in left-hand drive countries for bonus points.
After a short stop over in the Midwest for my nephew's wedding, we're flying into Lisbon, picking up a car there after a few days and then turning it in in London, spending the better part of week there and then returning. In broad strokes (and two maps since Google Maps limits the number of waypoints...) The route looks like this:

It's starting to seem more real. Yesterday, I packed my bag and validated that I can fit what I need in the size bag I'm willing to carry.
I'm really looking forward to this trip.
