then we drove over to Balmoral Castle to see the Scottish holiday home of the British Royal family.
From there, we drove down to Scone Palace to see the traditional place where Scottish Kings are crowned. That was a pretty wild drive through some rugged country -- including going by Glenshee Ski Centre.
From Scone Palace, it was a relatively easy drive (on a dual carriageway!) to Edinburgh. Just a little inner-city driving and then some urban parking lot mysteries... and then we arrived at our awesome apartment for three nights in Edinburgh!
It really is nice... three big bedrooms... three baths... and windows that look out at Edinburgh Castle -- which we'll be visiting tomorrow or the next day for sure. Laura and I walked over to do some shopping and we ate dinner in.
