Driving to Oban, Blantyre, Loc Lomand and The Trossachs

Today, we combined about 5 hours of driving and a two hour ferry ride to move from Belfast to Oban in Scotland.

We included a quick drive through Blantyre (an area near Glasgow) because that's where Laura's grandmother, Anna Kurszhis, was born in 1908.

From there, we skimmed past Glasgow and then through the heart of the gorgeous Loch Lomand & The Trossachs National Park to arrive in Oban.

We're staying in this awesome apartment overlooking the harbor!

After we got into town, we had dinner at Cuan Mor.  Dinner was yummy!

After dinner, we strolled back to the apartment and then turned in in preparation for our tour and visit to the Isle of Iona and its abbey tomorrow.
