Abby at Mont Saint Michel; Bayeux

This morning we woke up at Mont Saint Michel, had breakfast in our hotel and then walked up the abby to start our tour when it opened at 9am.  Definitely the way to do it before the day trip crowds arrive.

We did the tour and then bid farewell to Mont Saint Michel.

Then we did the relatively short drive to Bayeux.

In Bayeux, we're staying in this cute little cottage we booked through Airbnb.  It's close to center of town and includes a parking spot.

After checking in and getting settled, we walked into town, had a nice late lunch.  Then, we went and viewed the Bayeux Tapestry and then visited the Bayeux Cathedral.

We're having a low-key dinner in the cottage tonight.  Tomorrow, we visit some Normandy D-Day sites.
