Driving to Madrid; Night out in Madrid

We left the apartment and said goodbye to Lisbon.

Once we got to Madrid and checked into our apartment around 7:00pm,

Charlie and I headed out to watch some soccer.

11:30pm
Charlie and I head out for a guy's night to watch Spain play Portugal in the World Cup.  We struggled to find a place to eat where we could sit and watch the game... but eventually we got lucky at El Jabugo ... wasn't fancy, but it worked.

After dinner, Charlie and I meet up with the girls in the grocery and carried stuff home.  Laura and Charlie went out for a walk and I finished this entry and went to bed.

All in all... a good day!   Next up, tomorrow, seeing sights in Madrid!
