Lisbon - Day 2 - Post festival, sightseeing

4:00pm
Everyone slept in some today.  I got up bright and early at noon and no one was stirring, so I went for a run.  Well, I ran for parts of it... there was lots to see

Saw some cool things along the way...

5:30pm
After getting a couple loads of laundry going, we head out for a little sightseeing, shopping and dinner.

We start heading through more of Alfama and ran into a procession for St Anthony.

We then went to the waterfront and walked along there for awhile. After that, we visited the church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição Velha This was largely rebuilt after the 1755, but the stonework on the entry portal is original and survives from 1534.

From there, we did a little shopping.  The girls tried on clothes while Charlie and I looked for a pair of sunglasses for him.

Charlie found a large screen video game to play whlie the girls tried on clothes

Then it was time for dinner.  We chose Sinal Vermelho for dinner and were not disappointed.

After dinner, we walked home but stopped for gelato
it promises to be a busy day tomorrow.  Got to get more rest. :-)
